New Runway to Healing Website Hopes to Increase Awareness and Attendance

The new Runway to Healing website, www.runwaytohealing.com, is live and hopes to attract more help in the fight against childhood diseases and injuries. "Our goals are to extend awareness of Runway to Healing and Children's Miracle Network, boost attendance at the event, and increase the amount of money we raise," says Janine Wright, Marketing Director and Ecommerce Administrator at Valley Bank.Terrostar and Runway's staff developed a layout for the website designed to grab and keep a visitor's attention. The home page features photos of last year's event and profiles of some of the children that have been helped by funds raised at Runway to Healing.
Potential sponsors can learn more about the cause and benefits of participation in the "Get Involved" section of the site. To purchase tickets online, attendees can go to the website and click on "Buy Tickets."
"This project has been a wonderful -- and eye-opening -- experience," says Tom Terronez, Terrostar's President. "We are a SuperStar Sponsor this year and everyone is very excited to be part of Runway and its efforts."
The event takes place on Friday, October 2 from 11:30 to 1:00 p.m. at the Clarion Hotel in Davenport. Runway to Healing is a luncheon, fashion show and silent auction presented by Valley Bank. Proceeds benefit the Children's Miracle Network (CMN). CMN is a coalition of premier children's hospitals which provide state-of-the-art care, life-saving research and preventative education for children 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, treating 17 million children for every disease and injury imaginable.
